Column 3 - Length-Width-Height.
Check to ensure length, width, and height of
heavy lift is listed in inches.
Column 4 - Self Sus/Non S.S.(self-sustaining/non-self-sustaining).
Check for an
"X" when heavy lifts can be discharged by the vessel's gear.
Column 5 - Ves (vessel).
Check for an "X" when the discharging costs are the
responsibility of the vessel.
Column 6 - Cgo (cargo).
Check for an "X" when the discharging costs are the
responsibility of the carrier.
Column 7 - Stow Location.
Check for the four-digit stowage
location
as
it
corresponds to cargo data (Appendix A, Section XI).
Column 8 - L/T (long tons). Check for the weight of the heavy lift in long tons
(1 long ton equals 2,240 pounds); the weight should correspond to the
cargo manifest.
Total Cargo Loaded
In this section, which discusses the total cargo loaded (see Figure 4-5), check
the following data for cargo loaded to each discharge port for each service:
