dispersed in concealed areas, and vehicles exiting an
expressway.
STANDARDS:
Ensurance of adequate security measures for motor
transport movements is according to ARTEP 55-17 and FM
5-36, FM 19-30, FM 30-5, FM 55-2, FM 55-30, and FM 55-
312.

INTRODUCTION
The operational environment of motor transport movements is a
combination of enemy actions, terrain, climate or weather, and
existing highway facilities.
Adverse operational environments are
those where one or more of the elements of this combination cause a
major problem in tactical maneuver or logistic support.
