different
classifications of cargo follows:
Class I - Subsistence.
Class
II
-
Clothing,
individual
equipment,
tentage,
organizational
tool
sets
and
toolkits,
hand
tools,
administrative, and housekeeping supplies, and equipment.
Class III - Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL): petroleum
fuels;
hydraulic
and
insulating
oils;
products; coolants; deicing and antifreeze compounds, together
with components and additives of such products; and coal.
Class IV - Construction materials to include
installed
equipment and all fortification/barrier materials.
Class V - Ammunition of all types (including chemical,
and
special
weapons),
bombs,
explosives, mines, fuses, detonators, pyrotechnics, missiles,
rockets, propellants, and other associated items.
Class VI - Personal demand items (nonmilitary sales items).
Class VII - Major end items: a final combination of end
products which is ready for its intended use such as
launchers, tanks, mobile machine shops, and vehicles.
Class VIII -
Medical
materiel,
including
medical-peculiar
repair parts.
Class IX - Repair parts (less medical-peculiar repair parts):
all repair parts and components to include kits, assemblies,
and subassemblies (reparable and nonreparable) required for
maintenance support of all equipment.
Class X - Materiel to support nonmilitary programs, such as
agricultural and economic development, not included in Classes
I through IX.
