Cargo that is being transported during a movement is listed on DD
Form 1384 (Transportation Control and Movement Document (TCMD))
according to DOD Reg 4500.32-R, Volume I. DD Form 1384 is a seven-
part, prenumbered document which is initiated by the shipper for each
shipment, such as a truckload.
The form lists the cargo (type,
number of packages, and so forth), the consignee receiving the cargo,
the names of the cargo checker and truck driver, and the time the
cargo is to leave the shipping point. The purpose of this form is to
ensure accurate and quick delivery of the cargo, reducing the risk of
