Besides the primary RP of a column, there may be several secondary
RPs for various elements.
RECEIVING UNITS
Before arriving at the destination, you must contact the receiving
units by radio and notify them of the convoy's expected arrival time.
This will allow the receiving units to meet the convoy at the RPs and
to guide the vehicles to their proper unloading points. As vehicles
are unloaded, you must ensure that they are scattered and after-
operation maintenance is performed on them. Drivers must be informed
as to where and when they are to assemble for the return trip.
Convoys make a good target in combat areas; therefore, you must
ensure that light and noise discipline are strictly enforced.
