2.17. MULTIPLE-UNIT END RECEPTACLES
The multiple-unit end receptacles on
diesel-electric locomotives are
used when two or more coupled locomotives
are operated as one locomotive
from one cab. This is called multiple-unit
operation. The receptacles make
it possible to join the electrical control
