822-F13(COR) DEFENSE BASIC PRESERVATION AND PACKING

PURPOSE
The purpose of this course is to train enlisted

procedures in preparing new and repairable material for

2.1 Introduction to Packing
At the completion of 822-F13(COR), the student will
be able to:

This course addresses Department of Defense
Packaging Policies, Specifications and Standards,
2.8 Cargo Unitization
Blocking, and Bracing, Packing for Shipment, Marking
2.9 Marking and Labeling
Unit Packs Container Construction and Unitization of
Cargo.
2.10 Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste
This correspondence course consists of 22 lessons,
2.11 Packing for Small Parcel Shipments
12 ungraded practical exercises, and a final
