WMCCS provides the means for operational direction and technical
WMCCS
administrative support needed to command and control U. S. military forces. The
system is comprised of the National Military Command System (NMCS), the C4
(command and control, communications and computer) systems of the combatant
commands, service component commands, DOD agencies, and WMCCS-related
management/information systems.
Figure 1-14 portrays the elements of
WMCCS.
