Transportation Functions
The Army's transportation system is a responsive and capable one; as such, it adds

credibility to the U.S. strategic deterrence capability and sustains the forward
presence forces. The transportation system also plays a key role in projecting and
supporting the reconstitution of the force.
The synchronized execution of the transportation functions reinforce the
