10) Apply Rail Anchors
After new ties have been installed and skewed and misspaced ties properly repositioned, rail anchors
should be applied.
This estimate calls for every fifth tie to be box anchored (have four anchors applied), with anchoring of
primary routes only (no sidings). See Notes 2 and 3 below for intended anchoring limits.
